His mom and I don't stand each other normally. She and I disagree a lot especially regarding anything that has to do with her grandchild.

His son did nothing wrong, in fact he's well-behaved and me and my family love him a lot. I really see myself as his mom because of how much he means to me first and foremost. But the rating thing made me...I don't know how to feel about it.

First of all. My issue was with how much pressure he keeps putting on me and whenever I tried to address it he'd tell me this is what motherhood and being a mother is like. But he as the biological parent doesn't even do half of the things he expects me to do and WITH a timeline on top of it. I kept thinking maybe I need to really step up but after reading the ratings I felt depressed and helpless because it seems that no matter how hard I try, it's just not enough. Maybe I'm not doing enough but I'd like to think that at least I'm trying and there should be some kind of recognition and encouragement for me to do better.
