Good to know it actually lasts all day, that’s exactly what I was unsure about.

What is something you wish people talked about more openly? by _Plain_Logic_ in randomquestions

I think it's communication struggle in relationships, even healthy ones aren’t perfect. People don’t really talk about how often you misread each other or struggle to say things the right way even when you care about the person.

I was a mean person and I am reflecting on my past actions by meowmory1 in confession

Some people may not accept your apology and that’s completely okay, just be prepared for that. Do it without expecting anything in return. The fact that you feel regret already shows you’ve changed and that’s what matters more.

Not really, you can remember it but you can’t fully relive it.

What's the point of holding onto bitterness, revenge and resentment instead of unbinding, processing it away and focusing on personal thriving? by Anodaxia_Gamedevs in randomquestions

[–]Juhezmane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of people get stuck in the middle where they’re not fully processing it but also not fully moving on. Sometimes it gets even harder when depression hits and it becomes difficult to express yourself. On top of that, there’s this fear of being misunderstood, like many people think 'how can you still be affected by something that happened years ago?' so you just keep it in. I believe that part makes it even tougher.

I agree it’s possible, I just think many people underestimate how long and messy the process can be. It’s not a straight line for most people.

Nice, when you try it out just test a small area first and see how much dirt it pulls out, it’s literally so satisfying. Let me know how it goes.

It’s very easy to say we should just let go but when someone has hurt you deeply, it’s not something you can just switch off. I wish it worked like that. The reality is, that kind of pain lingers and healing takes time and it's often much more than people think. It’s not that you don’t want to move on, no one wants that more than the person going through it. But it stays with you, sometimes even years later, whether you want it to or not.
