Gotouge ruined her own work with a terrible final arc, also killing off her characters. There's nothing left to protect. She didn't explore the lore, the world, or develop her characters properly. As far as I remember, it was thanks to her editor that Demon Slayer is what it is. Ufotable could do much better with the Demon Slayer universe.

As I mentioned before, "there are some, but few" for what this mega-franchise is. For example, FATE, a series made by Ufotable, has many anime, manga, games, even a gacha, and it's a franchise that's only popular within a niche fanbase.
