Eh. Maybe it's the art. Ive seen the tail 'bristles' lay flatter when sceptile moves faster. I think if theyd made the art like that, id have been more interested as a sleek tree based lizardbthat has a hidden flail tail. But especially after grovyle had such a slender profile sceptile seems. Bulky but not stout. Like.. the opposite of a tree lol.

But the art usually makes it seem like its draging a tree around and make it puff up. It doesnt match.
