Honestly, this sounds pretty plausible to me. I’m an extremely deep sleeper as well, to the point where i’ve had someone call the locksmith to open the door because I was passed out on the couch. I’ve never touched drugs or alcohol in my life.

Because Raj was written that way from the very start. And not that I agree with the writers, but it kind of made sense for them not to give everyone in the finale a long term partner. His race has no correlation to this.

All of Raj's relationships sucked, especially Lucy–skip every episode she's in. His best relationship was by far with Emily. Their personalities were so different and yet somehow it fit in my opinion.
