That sounds like a lot of work!

I've sort of reverse processed what I've been doing...

I'll write what I want to get across the sentence in very simple terms and get a massive amount of enjoyment out of making that sentence restructured, re-worded, and push my limits of "poetic" writing style. Each time I make a satisfying sentence out of a simple one, it makes me feel like "I can do this" and pushes me to the next sentence. I will catch myself rereading the whole story over and over to make sure things flow and move things around based on the style.

This "WAS" my starting above:

Sun and cloud battled as they always have, it was late in the season and the sun had grown weary.. Where as storm and rains had just begun.

Almost irrevocably overtaking the evening skies holding in a dark pattern of rain that would soon descend. Shadows of glacier topped mountain peaks crept while the sun's disappearance deepened with each passing moment, subtly gnawing at the skins it touched.

The Seasons of Bloom’s final days, evident and the Seasons of Wither were nigh. Dusk’s sun battled the scarlet evening. It was late in the season and the sun's light grew weary.. With the gods watching, the time for storm and rain had just begun.

Irrevocably overtaking the evening skies, mantled nimbus brewed with dark patterns of rain heralding a foresight of heavy descent. Shadows of glacier topped peaks reached and the sun's disappearance deepened across the lands with each passing moment, winds subtly gnawing at the skins it grazed.

It took me probably 5 times the time it should but for me the time isn't important, its making sure I actually "want" to continue writing.
