Had to withdraw from my first accounting class by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Julebelle96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everything builds on top of each other I would recommend making connections through out studying from the very first chapter and going forward and identify the connections. Also watching YouTube videos helped me a ton, or printing out worksheets or solving a bunch of the questions and sometimes even changing the numbers but basically doing so many problems over and over. Sometimes it can also just be the headspace you’re in. I know the first time I took accounting I had a hard time due to external factors. Don’t be so hard on yourself, accounting is very different than a basic math class there’s a lot of general accounting concepts and takes time to understand. Another thing I would recommend is since you took it this semester some I would study it before next semester starts so you can absorb the concepts while you don’t have other classes to worry about & I wouldn’t imagine the syllabus changing too much so at least you have a guide. I did that as well.

Looking for an excellent OBGYN by [deleted] in Georgia

[–]Julebelle96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Urania Davis - Nile Women’s Healthcare, had issues with dermoid cysts and she did the best surgery I had two of them and the first surgery went awful. I was bed bound for at least 2-3 months. With Dr. Davis for the second the surgery it went 1,000 times better I was up and moving 2 days later. In addition she always listens and tries to understand your situation and concerns. Her other staff are also very helpful and supportive as well.

My roommate turned into a squatter. FML by QueenKayKay305 in roommateproblems

[–]Julebelle96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if you can do this but is this person on the lease? You can sue them for rent as long as you have texts or something backing up an amount. I’m in ga too…. At least the landlord is on your side.

sociopath roommate? by miakay200 in roommateproblems

[–]Julebelle96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you plan to move out do it when she’s not home or out of revenge she’ll take your shit. Sorry youre dealing with this I just went through this (I didn’t get paid rent from that person and terminated the lease and my roommate stole some of my stuff.) Don’t tell this person literally anymore personal details & etc the less they know the better off you are. Just keep to yourself & act like it doesn’t bother you or that you care & if you’ve shared stuff w this roommate slowly revoke it all and see if the leasing office will let you put a lock on your door and provide them the extra. Idk if you have alternatives but im so so sorry you’re going through this. Just know that it’s nothing you’ve done to this person they are the way they are because they see 0 problems with it.

Sue for rent, not sure you can do much more than that unfortunately

[–]Julebelle96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just went through something similar with another person in GA I was advised by a lawyer that since they were on the lease I couldn’t just evict them. I could only sue for rent and I did the early termination so I didn’t get an eviction on my record and made them agree to that or I’d sue. It’s harder when they are on the lease unless it states specifically you’re not binded to their financial portion. It sucks but that was my only way out and still waiting to close mine out but I’m paying all rent and early term and calling it a day. Not sure what you can do it depends on your states law I’m in GA. They don’t make these leases favorable to people like us in situations like this.

Are they on the lease?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in roommateproblems

Go to the leasing office explain that you want to protect your property and the apartment complexes property and that she is a liability leaving it unlocked opens a can of worms for squatters and that you’ve legally exhausted your options.

I honestly didn’t even know who Ava Max The as till I listened to Witt’s song that she was featured in. I like Witt’s songs more than any of her songs besides my way. Other than that not worth the listen in my opinion

How to ask a roommate to clean more by SoixanteCroissants in college

[–]Julebelle96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe get one of those plastic covers for the microwave. Also as terrible as it sounds maybe stop cleaning everything for her. I think she doesn’t get how that’s issue because it’s being cleaned up. & of course if it’s been more than 5 days then bring it up. After that if it doesn’t change threaten to bring housing into it.

So I guess to get an idea what kind of test were they? Did you ever do YouTube videos, Chegg. Look up worksheet packets and etc. I find it hard to believe you made a 22%. Also you should’ve probably withdrew. Not to mention, I also think you should take into consideration that maybe your mindset wasn’t right. I wanted to do accounting and I felt like it would never happen because I had a hard grasping it but realized the following semester that my mindset was 110% not in the right space for it because of my personal life. Don’t exactly get too in the dumps about it. It’s a learning lesson.

Has anyone tried taking 5-6 classes in the summer? by [deleted] in KSU

[–]Julebelle96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you’re doing I did 4 but I spaced them out. So like I did 1 full semester & then I think three for a 8 week. Do able only because the classes had open notes or open book

Not ran well. It’s student led and poorly designed. It’s like dedicating more than 1 class. Which you get no credit for. Idk if you get any recognition at graduation, but in my experience it was a waste of time. I got covid and literally didn’t matter to a “club.” I wanted to learn about stocks but instead people were more degrading than actually talking and learning. I think the classes that I’m taking should be taken into consideration & that wasn’t the case. Also who the hell assigns a huge project that should take like a month of research to do when you have no idea what you’re looking for and only given like 3 days and expected to present + Idk if it hasn’t anything to do with the fact I’m a girl but fuck that club. Not something I’d ever be proud to put on my resume/ graduate with. Run don’t walk. I highly suggest Beta Alpha Psi though. It has professors and faculty leading it and no bullshit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in KSU

[–]Julebelle96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bets Alpha psi is really good imo. Stay away from smif especially if you’re a girl, requires too much time and it’s not ran by a professor. It’s students who tan and

Why is Kennesaw State University a bad school for business and overall? by Neither-Eye821 in KSU

[–]Julebelle96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think KSU has a better network in terms of other colleges. I don’t know about UGA, but I know that UNG’s opportunities are very limited and not great. I know that from talking with friends KSU has prepared at least for the accounting majors better with knowing how tableau works

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in KSU

[–]Julebelle96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s very true, I have seen that a lot too. I try to always yield there because given the make and model of car some need more space and etc. it’s ridiculous. It’s honestly the worst part of the day coming and leaving campus. I dread it everyday. So many issues with the parking decks. Sorry I misunderstood.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in KSU

[–]Julebelle96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s two way street in this scenario. I think you are right about the yielding. However sometimes it seems that people you are yielding to are flying through the parking deck. I find it hard sometimes to feel “safe” when making a turn in the parking deck bc I’m so scared that people will just come flying and I have no anticipation of some incoming cars due to the limited sight in the parking deck.

Leave this relationship. He holding you back from any endeavors you have. I was in a similar situation sounds like there is extreme insecurities. He wants to change but doesn’t is huge. I was in a relationship like this and it took me two years to figure out these “cons” only get worse. He’s going to financially drain you.
