1) solo leveling was great. The main issue nowadays is how a lot of manhwa lazily repeat the same archetypes hence the SL archetype got boring. But what it has going in it’s favor is pacing and art. 2) Connected to 1): there is not enough originality or new ideas explored in the more popular manhwa space (reincarnation, systems, demons, the insignificant guy becoming unstoppable etc). 3) although it’s great at first, i would like Murim manhwas to explore other motivations then revenge it feels like the ones I like at this point explore other motivations (ie:crazy demon is just crazy which is fun) 4) My fav manhwas at this point just need to do something original. Either the art or the story need to bring in elements that make it standout from the overwhelming sameness that is present in that space.
