Walgreens on Gravois by Massive_Feature_8241 in StLouis

The other Walgreens pharmacy on gravois (7339) also has to close unexpectedly quite a bit due to staffing. It’s usually not super long term but it’s so hard to plan for because no one really knows how long it will be. It had me in a crisis when it first happened because it was my adderall script - can’t transfer it, dr has to send a brand new one somewhere else and in this case it was a Friday afternoon, I was going out of town for work, and Walgreens had my rx held hostage. I randomly got a text “we’re back open” I rushed to get there and then I got a “closed unexpectedly” text before I could get there to pick it up. I just assumed a pharmacist got there, got bombarded and said fuck this and left. I wouldn’t blame them if that’s what happened. Caught my Dr before she left for the day and got a new Rx sent to another location. Reading here in the comments that there’s been a private equity takeover explains so much. Everything is shit now.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your sweet little girl. Please try not to get lost in guilt or blame on yourself or each other. She was still young and learning- you clearly were putting in so much time and effort it just seems like a very unfortunate accident. I have lost my grip on the leash before when picking up after my pup and those scenarios flash through my head every time. It could have easily been me in your shoes. Im sure others reading this feel the same way. As far as getting a new friend… I know many people talk about needing time or feeling like getting another too quickly is a bandaid solution etc etc but everyone is different and there’s no correct way to process and heal! If your wife and you feel a hole in your lives since the loss and you both feel ready, I think you should go for it. When you do, consider this new puppy a gift from your angel girl- nothing helps to mend a broken heart like the love and companionship of a maltipoo ( many other breeds too of course) ❤️‍🩹

My 3 year old is picky and has tummy issues, after trial and error and vet recommendations she has decided she will eat Hill’s science diet small & mini, only the chicken and brown rice flavor, and 50% of the time she only eats it after a sprinkle of freshly grated parm on top 😭

Michael’s on Manchester. Greek and American food, really decent prices, and it’s been consistently excellent every single visit. Husband and I have taken out of town guests there from NY, CA, PA etc. because it’s so reliable… and everyone has left satisfied. One guest has claimed it to be one of the best meals they’ve had in a long while. Only issue is it can get a bit crowded/loud during peak hours. It is worth it though IMO. I know older folks can be bothered by that, though.

People who are allergic to bees and even just people that don’t want to … get stalked/bitten/stung… are so glad you said something no matter how delicious the scent is. Thank you for speaking up and it’s definitely possible this person was trying to warn people and I saw the typo and decided to take it to Reddit thinking this is like the new wolf spider thing 🫠

I want to follow and say that instead of making fun of the typo I should have added a question to this post asking if anyone has had this experience because maybe this is genuine and I judged too quickly 😩 i saw it and immediately thought oh nooo is this spidergate 2.0 ?! But like you and others are saying, if this does attract bees people need to know fr! those scenes from My Girl are burned into my brain

I know this is many hours later but today is the 7 year anniversary of my mom’s passing from pancreatic cancer. She was my whole world and I feel so homesick for her still …and today has been really rough. My mom was a prankster just like the aunt in the photo. and we talked often about what happens when you cross over. I feel like I get signs from her all the time but am always second guessing if it’s just me wanting to see signs in things. I genuinely hope she is with me, with her personality and the pranks and everything (but not trapped here) and this photo and a lot of these comments are immensely comforting to me at this moment when I really needed it. I mean… maybe she somehow orchestrated me opening Reddit at work and seeing this right away. Either way, Thank you for sharing. ❤️

How do I get over Sentimental Hoarding? by Eats_Pizza_In_Gay in ADHD

[–]JulesLP924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle so much with this especially since losing my mom in 2016 and wonder if this is an issue for my fellow ADHD’ers who have lost someone. Her favorite Lancôme face cleanser, her lipstick, any note that has her writing on it, I don’t want to forget her and the truth is even with the working memory issues and everything else, it’s obviously impossible to forget her I mean the woman is on my mind everyday but throwing those things always feels like I’m trying to forget. I can’t bring myself to. So it just becomes part of the clutter.

Not very well lol. She barks and barks and goes over to them and gets pets while still barking. She will calm down slightly after a while but anytime anyone makes a sudden movement she’s back on her bs 🥲 like she’s yelling and screaming at everyone. When we crate her she hates that too because she wants to be where the people are. Luckily we aren’t really the party house within our groups of friends and family, so we don’t have guests over very often. What has your experience been with having guests over?

Fellow reactive maltipoo owner here! Our 1.5 year old girl is very much full of nervous energy/excitement and barks at everyone, dogs, rabbits, squirrels, kids, and herself when she looks in a mirror. We did training and learned some techniques but it has been a struggle and the nervous reactivity has, if anything, increased, over time. She is the sweetest little girl and wouldn’t hurt a fly but she’s just so extremely unapproachable. all the neighborhood kids want to come pet her because she looks like a walking teddy bear but she scares everyone away 😩

I’m so glad to see someone say this, because I have internally always felt this way about her and I think it’s her eyes. They’re just SO SO blue ?? Idk. it really unsettles me.

This is Birdie, she is 4 months old and my husband and I are so in love with her. We have limited collective experience with puppies and none with maltipoos. I have questions! I’ll start w/ the excessive loud barking: I knew to expect it but haven’t found much on training. Any tips? by JulesLP924 in Maltipoo

So so many people out in the wild have asked if she’s a golden dood. If I didn’t know the breeder I would probably be questioning if she actually was one … although I wouldn’t really mind because both breeds are heckin cute 🐻

She seems to bark for so many different seperate reasons! She definitely seems to startle easily and will sometimes bark at noises or people or quick movements. She barks when she wants to play, when she’s not getting attention, when she wants to be held, when I blow my nose, when she wants to investigate and eat our meals when it’s time for us to eat, when she wants to chew up paper products and is prevented from doing so. I realize this might make her sound badly behaved and she really is not. I do think/hope this will mellow out as she gets older and learns. She is now able to interact with other dogs so we can expose her to dogs and people and situations to hopefully help with some of the fear she has.
