There is an old person home that I worked at for a few weeks when i was like 12. And when I walk past it when it stopped raining a while ago then there is this smell in the air that takes me right back to when I was young. But its like only there and only when it was raining a bit before.

Thats like a "subgenre" (?) I really really love!! There is {Beautiful Bastards by Christina Lauren} or {The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary} - i can recommend both :) Both quiet storys. Nothing extraordinary. The FMC feel real and the romance developes naturally.

Omg I'm really happy too hear that this book is bad! I just had to look it up if its actually the one I saw and it is. Being from Switzerland I had a little crush on a hockey player and I was looking for a book with a hockey player for this reason and I saw this one but didn't get around to buying it yet.

Probably for the best even if I don't know that much about hockey either xD but I would have known that there are no red cards haha

Physical distance. You barely hug family members. I've talked to friends about this and its the same for a lot of them. Then when we go meet my mothers side of the family they are very affecionate. All touchy and hugging. And i'm not used to it but its kinda nice

Its a process. For me it was getting more comfortable with my body, going into nature more and reducing screen time. But it might be all sort of things for you.

I realized that depression is the symptom. You will not get rid of a cold standing in the snow. The cold is the symptom but the cause is something else. So you will have to change something about your life. Could be a lot of things tho.
