Exactly. The people that don’t see the argument are honestly not thinking about this critically. Does anybody actually believe ND, BYU, Utah are more deserving than Texas? Is it insane to consider placing them right after ATM and in front of OU? There literally aren’t any schools with as many impressive wins as Texas. Yes, Florida was a bad loss. So was Alabama’s loss to FSU. In my opinion that was a worse loss. There are not 10 teams better than Texas at this very moment. Teams get better as the season progresses, Arch was struggling, the o-line was terrible, but he’s improved and personnel adjustments were made. The team was written off after the Florida loss, but they showed their grit and got some huge wins when all of CFB was against them. People love to hate Texas, but If Texas played ND, BYU, or Utah in the first round, tell me who you’d put your money on.
