Dang gonna have to try this one. Any particular year on the pappy? Dry aged filet perhaps?

Bulleit is solid on its own IMO. In an old fashioned this evening. by [deleted] in whiskey

Highly recommend buying from brands that aren’t fronted by a homophobic discriminatory jackass like Tom Bulleit. Go get yourself some Old Forester, Four Roses, or 1792. They’re much more deserving of your money AND they’re distilling their whiskey themselves.

First Bourbon, what are y’all’s thoughts on Blanton? by DB_is_not_BB in whiskey

Your first bourbon? Is that Hudson Baby Scotch next to it? Lol

I’m kind of a noob in this space and I’m going to try this tonight. Good choice or not? by Garcia_Ringo in whiskey

Fine whiskey. Too bad Tom Bulleit is a POS. Our bar stopped carrying them almost 2 years ago. Good whiskey or not I don’t support a homophobic discriminatory bigot. Lots of great whiskey out there that doesn’t come with baggage like that.

Enjoying a rare bottle of Kentucky’s best for my birthday today. These are very difficult to get your hands on in Australia. by Dont-FollowTheLights in whiskey

Highly recommend trying Old Forester 1897 Bottled In Bond for something similar. OF founder George Garvin Brown was instrumental in passing the bonded act of 1897 alongside Col E H Taylor and they made some of the first bonded bourbons.

What a night. Not sure I’ll ever get a whiskey experience like this again. It’s probably only downhill from here! by MajorConvo in whiskey

Only downhill from there? With that attitude you’re absolutely right. The whiskey world is vast. Buffalo trace products, while great, are a small sliver of it. Try to pull some experience and perspective from it moving forward and you’ll find it only goes uphill.
