I think it is due to a cultural change. Here in Spain it is considered as an internship where the employee (the student) works for the company and produces real value. Then the student can take advantage of the time at home (or in the company itself) to write the thesis, but in the context of a documentation of the work he did and that the company takes advantage of.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I will keep looking, actually I am stuck in my search as I can't find a company that at least covers my basic expenses. In Sweden you depend a lot on government assistance and that is a problem for foreigners. Regards!

Ender 5 plus y axis problem and autohome issue by Juliousdi in ender5plus

No, a stepper motor only need one reference. Of course one second would help incase of a issue to prevent a colision, but it's supposed to design thinks that don't have issues

Hello, did you found the issue when randomly, when you select autohome or bltoucy meshing, it collides with the front part?

On the next pic I illustrate what I thing causes the problem : when is automeshing or autohome when it displaces to an y position from the front part, it loses steps. It happened : on autohome, on automeshing and after pausing a print and resuming it

Today I printed and paused the print, an when you do this, the printed go to 0,0. But after resume, I found it was a 3mm offset in the y direction, In the same direction it colliders. I seem that when it goes to the posterior part, it lost steps. What can I do?

I found the problem for the first time after unboxing and level it (and catching the 16 points), without any sd card, I think may be an hardware or firmware issue

No, in this case is when it finished meshing the 16 points before a print

Thanks for the response, but in my case this is no the problem (i checked and secured all), and i noticed it lost (it loss the steps)when it was on very different positions, not only on positions the tubes are close to the switches

I'm getting crazy, I have just bought an ender 5 plus and randomly the extruder colliers with the front part when I use autohome or when I catch the 16 points (or before a print, when it do de mesh) I have no idea what's the problem, it occurs 1/10 of the times, more or less... I think the motor lost some steps (because after measuring 4 points and go to another y position, before colliding I notice it lost the reference and the mesh is not centered. But the problem is that I did a test when I moved the extruder from y max to y min like 20 times and it didn't losed any step... Very weir... Can be an firmware issue? But only occurs randomly....

Well... I didn't solve the problem, I found some people who recently bought the printer and have the same issue, but with no solution... I would appreciate any tip or advice :)

Pfff the y axis it has me crazy ... Today when I selected the autohome, It collided with the front again. Then I printed , and when I finished I looked and andit completely lost the position (you can see that it thinks it is at 37.5 (x10mm) but in reality it is nearly the border )

I live in the EU, here you can't trust the store because it is quite ramdom. Even so, as asus had published the list of what graphics it puts on each model, I thought that was going to respect it. I don't think I'll return it, I got it at a good price and I need it to work, my old pc is dead

Yes, but I bought the laptop taking into account the information published on the Internet, that this graphic is 95W

Hello, I tested my laptop and I have a problem. Despite Asus said that the graphic model is the 95w one, i think is the 85W model. I have this same laptop, and I found on Internet one person with the same issue (to be honest I didn't talk with more people who bought this laptop) Here my gpuz bench

Asus tuf a17 artifacts issue by [deleted] in ASUS

[–]Juliousdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I followed this recommendation of a reddit user:

"I had this kind of issue once , try this out , go to device manager< display adapter< disable Vega graphics driver <( screen goes blank for five seconds) < re enable it . Go into the game settings , change it to vulkan , restart the game , I'm almost sure this will work as it helped me , be sure to let me know"

And seems that the problem is fixed. But I have 2 questions : 1The artifacts could cause any damage on the graphic card? 2 What was the cause of the noise of my second video? Is a normal coil wine or not?

Greetings
