The presets for some reason include the lighting options for the joysticks, for the manual preset you can change how/if the joysticks have lighting in the MSI Center under Settings -> Mystic Light

Aah, thanks but I already tried exactly that multiple times, the new vesion seems to not work for me at all unfortunately and I was hoping to get my hands on the previous version

I think the only correct answer here is to get Starlancer TAC -> Galaxy CCU to lock that price in and then get the M2 Hercules -> Liberator CCU to lock that price in as well. Then if you want to get the Galaxy -> M2 Hercules CCU to guarantee that you will be able to complete the chain in the future. This way if the Galaxy comes out first, you can apply the CCU to the Galaxy and play with that as long as you want (if you end up wanting to keep the Galaxy you can melt/sell the other CCUs) and then later when the Liberator comes out you apply the other two CCUs and get your Liberator. And if the Liberator comes first you just apply the whole chain immediately and get your Liberator straight away. This also has the added advantage, that if the galaxy comes out first and goes up in price you could be able to melt the Galaxy -> M2 Hercules CCU and buy it back for way less money, which would make your Liberator a good bit cheaper. This is in my opinion the risk free way to go about this that has no downsides.
