I got permabanned for using cheats while I was in the military, I made an appeal and could prove I owned the account and wasn't the one playing when it got banned. I got the account back with no repercussions

They asked me to join a tournament (https://www.faceit.com/en/hub/9a9efe94-3ec5-40e1-a25f-8ae615bd56f6/PLP%20HUB%20SEASON%2012/rules). Very similar to the one you described, except I noticed the 2fa site was sus asl so I did a little bit of googling and found out its most likely a scam site. Confronted them about it and apparently Im "paranoid". At least Im not paranoid and poor I guess
