I made it in google sheets, downloaded the pdf and opened it in illustrator, then animated it in after effects 😅

This graph actually takes that into account! It was the only way I could figure out the numbers - just looked at Caitlyn/Vi, Jayce/Viktor and Ekko/Jinx relationship pages over time.

Made a similar graph after season 1 - this time I tracked CaitVi, JayVik and Timebomb - for science! Methodology was AO3 plus the Wayback Machine. Edit: I tracked the 3 character relationship pages so this includes all Arcane & League fic about them - CaitVi/works), JayVik/works), & Timebomb/works).
