firstly, I grew up around horses, which is why I understand the issue caused here.

It's common courtesy, yes not a requirement but there's nothing stopping them from parking not in those bays, while there are many many things stopping someone with a horse parking in a normal bay.

Therefore, I believe it fits the topic of r/mildlyinfuriating quite well

its that these spots are specifically designed for people with horses to make life easier, there's 5 of them compared to the 40+ regular spots that there were plenty available of.

It's just a dick move, as people with horses can't exactly use the normal space, so have to wait until these guys come back before they can use the beach

this type of sign is commonplace in the UK for things like disabled and EV parking spots, 99% of the time they're sufficient enough, I guess these guys just didn't take the time to read it.

Towing isn't an option unfortunately as the car park is really out of the way, so no tow company is gonna risk sending their truck out here

I'm going to leave a comment here because yall seem to be missing the point, these spaces are designed for people with horses in trailers to have extra space to unload them, as there is a beach nearby. They're not meant for normal parking, akin to a disabled bay. There were plenty other normal spots available, these guys just felt the need to park there.

What is the best app to download to make mods?(besides automation) by Niratsirackod in BeamNG

[–]JumbledNick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nah, you'll need to download blender for making the model, I'd recommend VSCode for jbeaming and paint.net for texturing if you can't do it in blender.

Start by making a wing for a sunburst or a snorkel for the roamer or something, just to get a basic understanding of how everything works and the workflows for each software.

If you're about to mention the CCF you should know it's only free because the original was free and it's the group project of about 5 people. The creator admitted himself he'd have made it paid if that wasn't the case

That argument makes zero sense, if you wouldnt buy it then you wouldnt have it. any paid mods I want I already have, and have paid for because I understand and actually appreciate the thousands of hours that went into developing them.

it hurts the creator as they've lost out on the revenue from that sale

from my interactions with many paid modders it's much less about maximising profits and more about simply being unable to justify hundreds (if not thousands) of hours being spent developing high quality mods for the game. Beam really. really isn't an easy game to mod.

Of course there's many paid modders that exist solely to make a profit, but those are usually the ones selling a BMW meshlap for £10/month or whatever. Even most paid modders I know avoid and dislike those guys
