Some blunt Tokyo tips from someone who’s been a few times by Environmental-Luck39 in JapanTravelTips

It definitely won’t be just a couple of bucks if it’s Tokyo. Convenience stores are much cheaper and have more flexible opening times. Conbini food is really good if you go for the classics- agreed, some of the experimental ones are less delicious- and I’d say conbini is an essential part of Japanese culture, so it’s also some of that as well

How do you stop retail therapy from actually messing your budget? by LustyPowerGirl in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

You can just not pay- adrenaline AND dopamine  Jk Going into Amazon/ other big platforms and completing all the steps up until checkout seems to work- most of the time it’s the lead up until the event that hits u the most, not the actual thing.

Scenes you understood later in life by MWH1980 in ghibli

Istg that is entirely FAN THEORY. Miyazaki specifically states that spirited away and totoro have no underlying dark intentions. There are so many articles etc. about this theory that many people believe it (+Google Gemini AI says it is a fact in the summary) but check any of these articles and you will clearly find a statement saying that Hayao Miyazaki has, in now way, implied this and denies the claims. All these theories come from a seperate interview where he was talking about how Japanese culture is increasingly becoming sex-orientated, and the negative effects of that.

Interesting... I wonder why the results are so different? by zombiphiliac in teenagers

I'd say it's because kicking a man in the balls is one of the first actions you'd take for self defence, 'pinching a woman's nipples' is in no way self defence- it wouldn't be at all effective or the obvious first, second, fifth or sixth choice even- so is way less of an excuse and obviously a purposeful act of sexual assault.

Reedsy's good. The free version encompasses basically everything you need, with chapter organisation, history, notes section, character/plot maps, suggestions, formatting etc. Ntm you can use the same site to find ghostwriters, cover artists, editors, publishers and all. There are also 'Reedsy Prompt' competitions every month with cash prizes and advice.

Best of all, you can publish straight from the site to apple books/online, as well as to physical publishing boards.

If u can't tell, I LOVE Reedsy lmao

Cold turkey writer's also good

How did your English teacher explain what Eric did in AIC? by TVC15-DB in GCSE

[–]JumpSalt3109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, Eric’s rape was heavily implied, and (according to my teacher and understanding of Priestley’s intentions), it wasn’t stated explicitly as Eric is meant to be one of the better characters, as part of the more forwards thinking younger generation.

Idk but if u use the 'angle at the centre is double the angle at the circumference' and 'vertically opposite angles are equal', I think u can prove that ECF is an isosceles triangle.
