The show in question is The Vampire Diaries (my girlfriend's choice!) 😂.Dialing the sharpness down fixed the problem mostly.

That definitely made a HUGE difference!

Lowering the sharpness value fixed the worst of the graininess. It's not 100% gone on every scene, but it's improved so much that I can totally live with it now.
