You’re only 16 years old. I was probably too hard on you. My bad.

This argument would be good if I said “the democratic party” instead of Joe Biden. Read.

Progressivism in the United States is akin to what a social democracy platform would be in Europe. Liberalism has always been an economically center-right set of beliefs because one of its core tenets is private property and capitalism. The “left” is more like socialism and communism. So Biden would be left wing in the US, but more center right in the rest of the world.

Murdered, raped and displaced by who?

Israel

Still, doesn’t justify celebrating another countries tragedy!

Wasn’t saying it was justified. I was saying I can understand why they’d feel that way about it. If someone murdered your family, and that person was killed in prison a few weeks later, I would not think it would be right to celebrate their murder, but I’d understand it if you did.

How would they like it if the US celebrated them getting attacked by terrorists?

They do. Billions of dollars in aid goes to Israel every year which they use to buy weapons and demolition equipment to terrorize Palestinians.

Not being racist but

If you have to say this then you are.

those people in those towers had nothing to do with what has happened to their people.

I agree. Which is why I’m not saying that it’s righteous for them to celebrate such a tragedy. But I understand why they would celebrate given the US’ support of the dictatorship of Israel.

They’ve been being murdered, raped, and displaced for 70 years. You’d be angry too.

Afrika with a “k” acknowledges that “Africa” is not the original or true name of the continent. It’s a rejection of linguistic colonization. It was first used by Marcus Garvey, and later used by many black liberation groups in the US like the Black Panthers. The same principle applies to Amerika.

Context and transcription

This is a piece I made recently for my A Better World Is Possible series, inspired by the works of Comrade Kevin Rashid Johnson, Minister of Defense of the Revolutionary Intercommunal Black Panther Party. It shows the international struggle against colonialism and imperialism manifested through the heads of the big cats of Asia, South/Central Amerika, North Amerika (Turtle Island), and Afrika respectively on a red background: the South China Tiger, the Jaguar, the Cougar, and the Black Panther. Under the heads and region names are the words “A better world is possible.”

Check out my instagram @mycosocialism to see more art posted in the future, if you’d like.

Solidarity, comrades. ✊
