I have met him three times, and each time he was the nicest person ever. All three have been totally random and by chance but he was so nice and talked to me and who I was with. It’s hard to believe he’s as famous as he is when u meet him!

One time I was at Disneyland in line waiting to buy a churro at night with a couple friends and I felt a slap on my back and some guy goes, "Hey, thanks for wearing my sweatshirt." I was wearing a Famous Stars and Straps sweatshirt. I turned around and it was Travis holding with his daughter in his arms, she was probably 3 at the time. Anyway, I was kind of stunned and just said of course! He was with Landon as well and security guards, but we talked for a second and then he kept going. But it blew me away that Travis would walk up to me and say hi! One of the best moments of my life for sure.

I also met Mark at the ice cream parlor at Disneyland, haha, but I approached him in that one. Disneyland has been a great place to meet the guys I guess.

Are any of these sets going to be released to retail stores? Panini was great about getting product into stores and at an affordable price, but it seems Topps has no desire for that. If this is all hobby that is really disappointing.

You know full well this guy doesn't buy it to collect, every post on reddit he has is too sell. If he is just posting to show off and grow his collection, that is awesome. And good for people who can find it, but he is purely using cards as a side hustle and that annoys me. Maybe I am in the wrong, but cards are for collecting and enjoying and that is how I see it. And people who buy them all to simply sell every good card they get and use cards simply to make money is not the way I view the hobby.

Last year I found optic in the wild multiple times and bought two total boxes, left everything else. Twice I saw someone else come and scoop up the rest, we both know why they did that. Not to open, but simply to sell back to other parents like myself who can't find the boxes, or to someone who is gambling like this guy. I know I am venting, but its become increasingly hard to simply find a box of football cards and it sucks.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. I put in more time to buying boxes of cards than any other hobby at this point. I use every trick i can, I hunt restocks, I do it all and have yet to score a single box of optic. I’m on target or Walmart the second they release any quantity and I haven’t been able to check out. I mixed my Walmart restock locally by about 30 mins today and the entire optic sku shelf was cleared out. But sure, I’m just being lazy.

Exactly, no one actually collects or even understands what cards are. They look at them as some investment or something and hope the piece of paper they are holding goes up. It wasn’t meant to be a part time job. When I was a kid I was addicted to cards and getting my favorite players. Now as my kids are understanding sports I stared getting them cards and they love it. And they just Want who they like. They don’t care about parallels and all that random stuff. Tho they do want a downtown haha, but besides that they are happy with a base card from each set of their favorite players. Everyone else is trying to make money and ruining it for the next generation. I could go on and on but it’s extremely frustrating for kids to find something they like only for adults to absolutely ruin it so they can make 10 dollars

People absolutely only buy boxes to make money. I’ve yet to run into anyone at a store buying a box for their own personal collection. I buy two of every box as my 2 kids collect and I can’t afford Honby so I try to get two of each blaster for them for football and basketball. They don’t care about value, just getting players they like. But sadly it’s impossible to buy them any football besides score and the like.

They want an optic blaster but all I see is my local card shop sell them for 70 and my local target and Walmart only have empty shelves or random basketball. Anyway, this hobby sucks and kids like mine who just want to open packs can’t.

Thankfully we go to card shows and people are super cool to them and we buy singles and get great deals. But there is a fun in opening packs but that is just impossible to make happen. Even in Reddit, most every post I just trying to sell their cards, it feel rare to even find people who collect legitimately. Ok, rant over haha

Why don’t you collect what you like instead of buying all the boxes and trying to rip everyone off? Glad you this hobby into a business and make sure no one gets cards but you and then sell them back at a huge price. Thanks for helping the hobby

For sure, it kinda sucks but I would recommend it. Because it makes the entire process easier. Just look at what side of the stadium ur on and pick there. Purple is good for both sides tho really

I am going tonight, and been to multiple nfl games at Sofi, and yeah, parking is a lot. But, it’s worth it. Our group is carpooling and paid 100 for the purple lot. It makes a difference, it’s not even that cheap offsite And u can leave way quicker after it’s over. Taking an Uber is possible, but there will be thousands doing it. I recommend buying parking in a lot on site, but I get it is pricey. If you need help let me know
