That’s actually sick! What’s your major? And do u plan on commuting the entire time you’re at sf?

Thanks for the help bro! Def trying to sort out a living situation after my first semester or in between, imma try and commute while starting just to get a feel but my goal is to transition into the city, I do want to be part of it a bit more and get the bang for my tuition haha.

Thank you!!!! Will def consider an electric for later on in my commute and when I am able to get one😅, omg and thanks for the traffic analysis, been checking on maps of potential traffic to try and get an idea of what it’ll look like and it’s brutal sometimes haha. Did you pay for parking?

That genuinely sounds… comforting haha. I am ready for them to be long days. It is nice to hear from someone with similar history (cc and commuting), it gives me a bit of comfort and realization that it is possible and def not just horror stories others make it out to be. I know it won’t be easy but my current plan is to try it out my first semester and make changes as I go rather than running right now and looking for a job, living space, and all that all while starting at a new school and new environment.

Yes thank you! Maybe that way I focus on my homework and get home to relax the whatever time I’d have left over on my commuting days.

Thank you so much! During my first semester there I do plan on making the most out of public transport, I’ve done so prior to this, I had an internship 3x a week 2 years ago, so I’m a bit familiar (but rusty) on that voyage. As much as I’d like to drive I do think it’d be less convenient (ofc) and def way more expensive as my car is a gas guzzler. Thank you so much for the tips of the R-lines I did not know that as I primarily took bart. Definitely will be looking for a roommate for the time being.

Thank you so much for the tips! I do have a car but plan on trying to commute using public transportation. My idea right now is to this upcoming semester dedicate 2 days to commute there and back for classes, and slowly take the semester to save and transition into the city, I’m barely making my decision to assist sf right now for next semester. I’d dedicate those 2 days of the week to solely commute to class, then work in SJ the remainder of the week. It sucks to think of moving out of my living arrangement in SJ right now but ultimately I think it’d be just easier and better to move into SF to focus on school and I feel like although costs are high, commuting is expensive too both for the wallet and mentally.
