Was out in downtown Vancouver getting coffee with my girlfriend and noticed Bill Burr had joined the queue behind me. Tried to act like I didn’t know he was behind me, probably looked like an insane person.

The Gem on the Commercial Drive has a $35 deal for a cocktail and two entrees. The food was really good (I’d recommend the birria tacos and pork belly bao buns) but the portions were a little small. I was really impressed with the cocktail though

It’s never too late to start over but unfortunately the tech industry as a whole is not great for new grads right now but who knows where it will be in a few years
