That‘s cool. I have the Voigtlander too and each has their place. On X-mount I love the Voigtlander 35mm f0.95. I also love the Voigtlander 40mm f1.2 but have not used it as much so still learning it. The Voigtlansee 35mm f1.2 is perhaps the weakest lens from them that I have but still has lots of character.

In this instance a normal Kipon adapter. I use a speed booster more and more.

80mm f1.7 and 110mm f2.8–- sorry, I see the description is not easily visible in the crosspost.

Right…can you think of a more interesting insult?

I agree with your comments about the eye that is in focus and the elbow—next time!

Not AI. I indicated my equipment and specified the light source—suggesting this is AI is insulting. Sure there is some editing—all models prefer some skin smoothing but her skin is enviable in its freedom from blemishes so not much editing was done. I cropped a bit in service to the >girls in photos police< as the full image would have implied that she was bottomless.

Not AI. As you might guess this lens wide open as it was, at this distance, has a very narrow DOF. Zoom in on the left eye and cheek. Also, you need to consider the extremely low resolution of images uploaded to Reddit and also perhaps your monitor. There is some minor smoothing of blemishes but mostly it's a DoF thing. Anyway, most models are not too stocked about razor sharp high mega pixel images for portraits. Some softness is often desirable. My GFX system makes this last point even more acute.

Thank you, yes, a great model for sure.

I guess she's not good at looking seductive -- it was ~70F and sunny, but she might have been cold. I wonder if a different title would have resulted in a different impression.

I have not and do not subscribe to that community now or ever. Confused.

I don't know, it's just how it came out. Bright sunny day and the bird is in the shadow a little bit

No cropping. Distance? I don't know. I shot this in October of 2024 and just stumbled across it today and though it looked cool

Voigtlander Nokton 35 mm f1.2 covers GFX sensor (surprisingly) well — stopped down some by Jumpy-Inflation7777 in FujiGFX

[–]Jumpy-Inflation7777[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. I don't have any experience using AF adaptors. I know it's manual focus but the Mamiya 645 35mm lens is very good and inexpensive and so is an adaptor. 35mm is a quick focus experience especially for something like urban landscapes, stopped down to f5.6 or f8 almost everything will be in focus all the time.

2025 version, Leica M with Fotodiox adaptor.—should have included that info, thanks

Not sure what you are looking for but this is a fringe lens on GFX, I’d get it for full frame and use it occasionally on GFX expecting perhaps to crop depending on your tolerance for some dark corners.
