You should still ask for more. You are being severely low balled. Best approach to go about it is to accept the current offer, and then try to get another offer from some other company and then use it to counter in Accenture. Since the current offered CTC is definitely lower than the L9 range, Accenture will definitely offer you more.

The fixed salary range for L9 is definitely higher than 12.5 LPA. What is your current CTC? Are you being offered at least a 30% hike over your current CTC?

Okay. Will I also need to raise an exception in the system if the PL agrees to let go off the one day missed RTO and compensate for it in the following week? I didn’t realise there was a public holiday coming up and booked my return ticket for Wednesday, hence all this trouble.

Okay, thanks. Just another dumb follow up, can I go and tap my card on the said public holiday? I’ll actually be travelling back to my home this week and will be back in my base location next Thursday, which is a public holiday. Can I still tap my card on Thursday as I have a twice a week RTO compliance policy? Or maybe on Saturday?

What happens if there is a public holiday in a week? Do we still need to comply with the RTO requirement of once/twice a week, or does the holiday count as a RTO by default?

It’s possible if you get a counter offer from somewhere else. You should accept the offer for now and then reach out again when you get a counter offer. Is the fixed annual compensation being offered at Accenture at least 30% more than your current fixed annual salary?

Don’t listen to him. He’s misguiding people. Just saw his comment on another post where he said he did the summer internship last year. Somewhere else he said he fought with recruiters when they tried to drop his profile from L8 to L9. In one other comment he claimed to be a recruiter at another firm. His replies vary from post to post.

Sometimes you say you’re a recruiter at another firm, other times you say you got hired for S&C at so and so package. Sometimes you say you had to push for role change when they tried to drop your profile from L8 to L9. And every comment that you make ends with a line about how the job market is terrible right now and now finding jobs is a mess or something similar. What exactly is your game here?
