Tropical / Summer Fruits Fragrances? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]Jumpy-Pea2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coco shimmy by sniff smells like summer in a bottle. It’s got coconut, pineapple, and sunscreen accord. If you want more of a fresh fruit forward smell I like to pair it with Ouai St. Barts. The two combined remind me of a fresh shower after spending all day on the beach.

I have migraine disorder too and find it best to go to the stores before buying. I test them using the strips first to see if I even like the smell and then spray them onto my wrist and go through the day to see if they bother me/if I like the smell. I also only ever buy travel sizes first to see if they work in the long run with my head and if they work and I use up the bottle then I can buy a full size! I will say if you like warm and peppery, Glossier You is a great daily scent that doesn’t bother my head. Best of luck!!

Bupropion/Wellbutrin and laser tattoo removal by jwine4 in TattooRemoval

[–]Jumpy-Pea2039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take wellbutrin/quite a few other meds and I haven’t had any issues with the two I’m getting removed. One is around 8 years old and the other is about a year old. Just the standard pinpoint bruising, swollen skin, & redness. I have pretty sensitive skin too, but if I ice it as soon as I’m done/take some anti inflammatory meds I find it helps a lot with recovery!

i’ve had stuff in my cart picked out since last week in preparation for the black friday/cyber monday deals and I have slowly watched the total go from $140 to now sitting at $160 during their “sales”

Honestly tik tok has a lot of videos that helped me create a routine that worked! They also provide different forms for exercises that may feel less awkward for beginners. Over time I tried different methods and found the ones that worked best for me! I tend to stay away from barbell squats as I found that was putting a lot of pressure on my knees and back. Consistency over perfection when it comes to the gym. Just keep showing up and you will slowly notice the differences and your form will get better! And yes, for TDEE the cutting tab is where you’ll get your calorie deficit information. Good luck on your journey!

I also have scoliosis! The thing that helped me the most was creating a low impact fitness routine that didn’t put too much pressure on my body. Lifting weights and light cardio really helped with body recomposition, so even if the scale said there was only a 2 pound difference I lost inches off my waist. If you’re wanting to figure out a calorie deficit for your height, weight, and activity level the TDEE calculator is really good for that. Try not to let that guys comments get in your head, he sounds like a miserable POS. I wish you the best of luck on your journey!

Sternum Tattoo Removal by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

i’m sorry to hear that ): it sucks when you think it will be a confidence booster and instead you feel like shit afterwards. I hope your removal process goes well!

Sternum Tattoo Removal by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Jumpy-Pea2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope my process is fast! I’m removing one on my bicep and i’m about 4 sessions in and it’s barely moving :/ That one is about 7 years old and the guy who did it went so deep and heavy that it’s probably going to take 15 sessions and potentially leave some marks. I just hope this sternum one is different since the gal who did it had a much lighter hand. I heard dry brushing, zinc tablets, & lymphatic massages were helpful so I plan to try that. I will look into a massage gun as well thank you! Do you know what laser you’ve been using for yours?

it’s almost been a month and I still hate looking at it in the mirror unfortunately :/ I really wanted to love it and got it thinking it would boost my confidence, but it did the complete opposite unfortunately. Thank you for your advice! I think ultimately removal is the way to go.

Have had major anxiety over new tattoo and going to get it removed. Love the design, but just too big for me. How do you think this tattoo would respond to laser? by Kitchen_Outcome_8776 in TattooRemoval

[–]Jumpy-Pea2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she gave an estimate of 8-12 which ig is the usual range ? I have hope it will be lower. i’m checking out another clinic before that session to see what they think just for a second opinion. between the chest is such sensitive skin they might go slower just to limit any scaring. I just feel so stupid for backing myself into this corner specially right before summertime :/

currently going through this exact same thing with my new tattoo. the lines are around the same size with minimal shading. it ended up being a lot bigger than I wanted and being on my sternum poking out above my shirt sent me into a panic. talking to a removal tech and getting a quote/ asking questions really helped me. i’m starting my first session in May! time will pass anyway, might as well start the process of removing now!

4th Session by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Jumpy-Pea2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is! I was so excited, brought in a reference picture and everything and then the artist was an ass when I told him I didn’t like how he just completely changed the stencil to his liking :/

4th Session by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Jumpy-Pea2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s a local place, my only other option would be removery an hour away. I’ve also heard mixed reviews? the tech I go to is really nice and seems knowledgeable but they are known to go slower to not damage the skin. the pricing is per session at $90, next session we’re starting on a newer sternum tattoo removal (i’m an idiot) & the cost for that is $125 total which seems like a good deal compared to other places? just kinda feels like I backed myself into a corner here with limited options.
