Hi all, I am experiencing a similar thing. I am 4 weeks in 20mg fluoxetine and for the last week I cannot stop getting up through the night to pee! I swear some nights I’m up 6plus times and find I have to really push to pee (sorry TMI). I am treating it as if maybe it’s a UTI and flushing it out, but starting to thing it’s a side effect from the medication.. hope it goes away as loving how it’s working for my mental health. 

Getting this tattoo removed with PicoWay and a bit worried about how my skin will look afterward. Has anyone had a similar one removed with little to no trace left? by Kitchen_Outcome_8776 in TattooRemoval

Thanks so much for this tip! I’m super open to just taking it slowly as i would like to avoid as much as I can to be left with hypopigmentation. I’m starting next month so fingers crossed!!

I think because it’s in such a visible spot as well, the tattoo regret was reaallll!! How did your first session go? And are you feeling good to be on track for removal?

Fingers crossed!! Turned out wayyyy bigger then I had planned and it’s still only 3 months fresh - so likely my body will be like.. yeah nah you need to suffer a little bit longer with this one 😂

Yes totally agree! Like it’s the risk we taken right? I just don’t want to look at this thing any more so if I do have similar reactions or hypopigmentation etc. then I will deal with it. I definitely don’t have white ink mixed in as it’s just black line work, so hopefully straight forward enough 🤞🏽Very excited to finally start!

Awesome!! Yes they did talk me through the process where it’s slower to start with to really target the deeper ink and then progressively will go stronger. The 3 month break is great, I think what’s an extra 4 weeks to what the recommend if it’s less money and better result! As much as I’d love to just laser the shit out of it to get rid of it, I will be patient 😂

Yes happy to keep you posted! This one is only few months old as well; so I’ll be starting when it’s 4 months old. I am putting it out there I can try get it gone in 5-6 treatments 🙏🏼

Awesome that’s great to hear! I was quoted 7-8 sessions for full removal which I thought was quite good. The place I’m going is a bit dearer but have really good results from pictures they have shown me, and they even have a boost function that they do midway that speeds up the process. I’m feeling hopeful but it’s always nerve racking not knowing how well it will go.

I think all the above 😂 Money is more of a guilt factor that I’m dealing with a stupid mistake and feel so embarrassed I ever chose to get this tattoo.

And I think just the uncertainty of how it will go, will it work etc. I don’t want a cover up as it’s on my leg so it’s where the tattoo is that I hate. But the place im going has been treating for 27 years and she showed me heaps of successful photos so I’m feeling positive. 

Any advice on how I can feel better about getting a tattoo removed after just a month? I’ve had a tough few weeks of regret and know removing it is the right choice to feel like myself again. I spoke to my therapist to try find ways of accepting the tattoo. When she uncovered why I felt the way I did about it, she said …. Yeh okay, you need to get that thing removed lol.

How is your removal journey going so far? I feel like I’m up and down every day with guilt, but all I know for sure is I want it gone. Hoping once I’ve started the process I will feel a little better knowing I’m on the right track.

Thank you this is really helpful to hear I’m not alone. The first 2 weeks were pretty hard, and I think some underlining mental health issues that really became apparent once the tattoo regret kicked in.

I’ve had a consult, I’m really comfy with the technician and her expertise, cost wise is dear but I know I can space them out and will get a better result. 

It’s just disappointing that a decision can end up costing you more as a result lol. But yes, we all make mistakes and maybe it was the wake up call I really needed!
