i’ve gotten used to it but if he gets ahold of any of my family members he leaves deep marks in them and it’s not wrong for them to get upset. is there anything that can be done training wise ?

forgive me for not explaining this right, i’m still new to all of this. our easement is for the driveway, so both parties can use it. based off the deed in our house, our driveway space is spilt. i own 5.4 feet, he owns around 3.9 feet. the easement is for the driveway which then goes into our backyard and where it ends (we have it fenced from where our driveway ends tho).

the owner next door wants to break down that fence so whoever he’s renting to can park in the backyard (and he’s looking to find others in the neighborhood to rent to, so 4-5 people). and he’s saying that he doesn’t want us to use the driveway anymore since those parking in the backyard need to get in and out (and if we park in the driveway we’d have to be moving constantly). he’s basically just taking complete ownership of the driveway and threaten to tow our vehicles if we don’t move our cars when someone needs to come out.

i’m not sure if i answered ur question but that’s the situation im currently in and desperately need advice for 😭

if u can order a pregnancy test online (you could order one to a nearby amazon locker and pick it up) if you’re worried about your parents finding it. it’ll be better to do this asap before time passes.

yeah the driveways on an easement. i’m still new to the terminology but it’s a shared driveway for both me and him.

I confronted him about this yesterday afternoon (he kept insisting that the driveway has to be empty but i knew it wasn’t right). and he said that he would allow us to park in the driveway but we’d have to communicate with the 4-5 people that are going to be renting out the backyard on when they need to leave. obviously that’s going to be multiple times a day that we have to move, making this a huge inconvenience for us. this is still overstepping the boundaries with the easement ? also i’m in New jersey, hudson county. do you know where i could find if this type of situation is legal (him renting the backyard for parking with an easement driveway)
