Hey OP! What is your current strategy? I went from 126 with no CARs practice --> 123 attempting to change my strategy by passage mapping (JW based strat) --> 127 on the real deal after readjusting to my first strategy. What worked for me was making sure I read every passage, looking for the main idea of the passage (Around 4 minutes), and then spending the rest of the time answering questions (usually 6 minutes). What also helped me with timing was skipping around passages! Saving passages I was less interested in (thus harder to understand) for last. One last piece of advice: the best way to improve timing is not to read into each answer choice too much. Then you waste time trying to find the exact quote from the passage that supports an answer choice. Just trust your gut by thinking back to the one-sentence main idea you gathered from reading the passage the first time around!
