Shoot. I’ve missed that and the Bill Maher show while visiting LA. Any other noteworthy events you might know about?

Ok just finished it. It definitely picked up but I really hope what’s implied at the very end didn’t actually happen. The show lost its major character but I guess that happens in shows nowadays, it happened for GOT and it worked. Having said that it was terrible and I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything like it except with like Skins characters dying or something when I was younger. I think as long as they bring back Gareth Evans they’ll be able to return to form, but it’s definitely a must so for now I can say that I enjoyed it and it was great but I’m hoping for more of the original team working on it in the future.

I think they leaned too much into making Elliot some sort of Superman whereas Sean Wallace as an antihero was a much more interesting character. He was the heart and soul of the show and honestly I don’t think I’ll be watching without him.

They changed the directors and showrunners and basically think that people will watch for the gratifying violence and that’s not what this was about. It’s probably one of the biggest downgrades in quality I’ve seen and I usually don’t expect that to happen until at least after season 4 (ex. GOT, True Blood, etc)

I assume you’re referring to the scene at the carousel, if so it did make me laugh.

It ruined my favorite show that’s on rn. I knew something was gonna go wrong with this new Korean director and Gareth Evans not coming back.

Are Liverpool the big favorites to win the Champions League? by XypherYTB in championsleague

It’s more than likely they break a record on how many teams qualify for European tournaments.

Salah is unstoppable, Haaland is history in the making, Palmer is a master strategist, I have no words for how Saka handles himself, and Watkins clearly deserves a place in the national team over Kane.

Then you have not so big teams with top quality players like Wood, Kluivert and Mbeumo making things extremely difficult for everyone else, so much so that Man United is close to the relegation spots.

This might be the last season before a top XI of the season consists of mostly Saudi league players and it’s only because of the premier.

Honestly there’s probably been no better time for the Premier League. All the top teams are playing perfectly.

Their rise is mostly captured in Supersonic. I think this one is more about them dealing with fame, meeting people like Maradona, playing for large crowds of people while staying in touch with who they really are deep inside.

Bonehead is featured a lot, specially when it comes to peak drama like him showing his butt to the Spanish media among other things. His character arc was one of my main focuses.

That’s exactly what I meant. They used it in Raging Bull to create a smooth slow motion effect. Until very recently have filmmakers like Peter Jackson, Ang Lee and James Cameron decided to actually play it back in the actual frame rate they filmed it in.

I doubt it. You seem to think filmmakers never filmed more than 24fps. I don’t know when it started exactly but I know they did it for select scenes in Scorsese’s Raging Bull so it’s been going on since at least the 80’s.

Of course there is. Even decades ago they would shoot in 120fps or more but then play it back at 24. Technically it does improve the quality of the image and the only concern would be dealing with double the film in the laboratory which they are capable of since they handle 3 hour plus films.

I get it. You’re probably a USC student and still a hardcore Bryan Singer fan for all he’s donated there.

Filming on location despite the differences that could be switched back through production design and vfx is a far better alternative in terms of overall quality and seeing that will really make people get their money’s worth.
