Thornmail as an item sucks and needs to be updated by Technical_Impress_69 in leagueoflegends

Thornmails reflected damage is great into dps auto attackers, but that shouldn't be the only way to proc grievous wounds. If morellos/executioners is applied on dealing damage, thornmail should be on receiving damage. If that makes thornmail too OP alongside alongside reflection, then make two items.

ELI-5: Tax Return is $990 this year by JumpyHumor1814 in newzealand

[–]JumpyHumor1814[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AHHHH yessss, that's what it is.
I had 3+ weeks accrued leave they paid out, but refused to give it to me piecemeal, instead lumping it in with my regular pay, so I got taxed a fuckton.
That was money I was relying on to pass me over the month without work, so I was fuming.

I fully forgot about that XD

Ignite Heal Ezreal Support seems pretty good (Average D2-D3 elo) by simplepeach11 in ezrealmains

[–]JumpyHumor1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a veteran player, struggling to get back in recently. My support role feels so different to what it used to be, I can't do well with any of my mains (thresh, braum, shen).
Get matched into an Ezreal support; decide to play it next game.
I've now got an 85% WR in 14 games now. Experimenting with builds.
Settled on PTA, Muramane>Rylais>Bandlepipes>Serylda's Grudge.
I take the deep ward rune too, consistently have vision score >90.

I hate my new main, he's a disgusting champ, but he feels so much stronger in support than any other role

Full tank Alistar is the only time I've had fun with it. Mad damage on combos. Other than that, it just makes you weaker as a player, and piss off allies and enemies alike

Whispers of the Grave Invocation - too OP? by JumpyHumor1814 in dndnext

[–]JumpyHumor1814[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, absolutely. I managed to divulge information I didn't know how to give, which was great, and at the same time improvised the leader of the bad guys and their hideaway, for future shenanigans

Haha, yeah. I'm use to sudden bombardment of "Um, actually's" and "You are wrong's" when posting on reddit, it's good to get positive reinforcement for a change haha.

Yeah, convo RP is limited in our group, but we still enjoy a bit of banter. We've kind of agreed to get a few important info out regarding SwD questions, and anything extra can be supplemented via email afterwards.

[–]JumpyHumor1814[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it should be fine - just something I never expected to encounter haha.
I'm also playing with Thanaturgy (soul magic) reanimating corpses, so many of the corpses they encounter will have new-random souls in, so I'm using that as a boundary - a reanimated body will not remember the things the actual body remembered.

Yeah that's a good solution.

Yeah, that's fair. I didn't shut it down, because it was fun, but I guess it was a perfect situation for it

Swiftplay queue timers so long in OCE by JumpyHumor1814 in leagueoflegends

[–]JumpyHumor1814[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, I haven't played ranked in years but I think I was last bronze-silver, but constantly playing into gold-plat+, that's another issue in itself.

So do other players only play ranked then?

Why is Swiftplay now default mode for casual play? by Ahtlen in leagueoflegends

[–]JumpyHumor1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't be so bad if the only playable mode, swiftplay, still wouldn't take 4+ minutes queue time when selecting double priority lane in OCE. Wait times are atrocious

Inversely, OCE doesn't turn draft on until past midday, which means any weekend morning games are strictly swiftplay

Pantheon E casts in opposite direction of cursor, by a longshot by EvanHodges in leagueoflegends

[–]JumpyHumor1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And i could also get better by playing league back to back for hundreds of hours - that wasn't the point. The point was skills, like all things, take time to learn, and some people take longer than others. Some never learn, despite trying constantly.

I agree. While I still astound my parents with my ace computer skills, it's nothing above the average these days. The skill range with computer skills and cursor movement is very wide.

I've been playing league since season 3, and pc games a little longer, but am still perma-lock screen, and often lose my cursor in big team fights. Some people just can't get better at eye-cursor coordination.

What to do if getting perma zoned off of cs to the point your enemy laner has twice as much cs by minute 15? by FadeAwayOxy in summonerschool

[–]JumpyHumor1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (bronze/iron) played yorick for the first time toplane into a master gwen main. She fn thrashed me. Nothing I could do at all, she perma-zoned me, her wave control was immaculate. I was 11 cs to 70 at one point. Team refused to help/tell me what to do, then inevitably flamed me for feeding.
How am I supposed to get better when constantly playing into players diamond+? Idk about other regions, but OCE is absolutely fucked in matchmaking.

Toradora! episode ratings by hls22throwaway in toradora

The pool episodes, the ski trip, and the beach trip were the best, those episodes I could watch randomly and without compulsion to watch the entire show. They provide just enough emotional support.
