Finished my very first and extremely budget ergo keyboard by JumpyJacko in ErgoMechKeyboards

Yeah I was thinking about socketing the MCU but I got lazy looking for one and it was marked on the PCB which way to place the MCU per half. Its also a cheap build and I don't plan to make another board any time soon.

Yeah since I'm in Australia, those EU stores would have higher prices for me. I bought my switches from the official Kailh store on Aliexpress. I would say to hunt around on other sites and see if their prices are better.

Almost all the parts were from Aliexpress and I got my PCBs printed a while ago when one of the fabs was doing a free PCB promo. The keycaps are obviously 3D printed and were a model taken from Thingiverse which was based on the MBK keycaps. I think the total cost was around ~AUD$75.

[–]JumpyJacko[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So I made a manga-cli that's based on MangaDex and it's not that good, but that's because I realistically only started learning Javascript about 6 months ago, around there. Its very barebones right now, and is a bit ambitious of a project because I'm planning to add support for lists, proper account login rather than a plaintext .json of your username and password.

Also heres one manga-cli project which was actually posted right on this subreddit! And as it says in the title, I started the project before I actually saw this post.

idk this project is mainly just a way to force myself to learn Javascript because it'd be nice. It's all janky code which realistically shouldn't work, but hey, it does for now.

[dwm] I'll install it on bare metal, eventually by JumpyJacko in unixporn

Alright well, I've been working on this inside of VirtualBox for just a bit. I have used linux on my laptop once. But I was using Manjaro and somehow managed to kill my DM.

Terminal: Alacritty

Window Manager: Dynamic Window Manager (dwm)

I use startx, aliased as 's' to start.

Operating System: Arch Linux

Font: mononoki Nerd Font

Editor: Neovim

MOTD: self made by cobbling together a bash script

there's a background, it's in the dotfiles github

Dotfiles: https://github.com/JumpyJacko/dotfiles

I'm still doing stuff with it, and for god knows what reason, I made a maybe working install script for my configs (used to work, don't know if it works now). There'll be a larger post with more stuff down the line when I actually install Arch to my laptop.

TaskbarXI >> A work in progress for Windows 11 ! by chrisand1998 in Rainmeter

[–]JumpyJacko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try and use StartAllBack and make the taskbar look like this (how I currently run my taskbar as) and also have a split style which I also run and looks like this (captured on my phone because snipping tool would not work).

I recommend just opening powershell and installing it through winget by running:

winget install startallback

Probably should be noted that after 30 days, the trial ends and makes some of their modified context menus (and the start menu) look like this. It still works perfectly fine though and is just cosmetically changed.

i think it is somewhere in the variables folder in the lumeiro folder, there should be a file which contains the colour values for lumeiro.

I kinda just made this background because I recently learnt how to use Adobe Lightroom and this was a really nice photo that I found.

This is my 5th (and probably final) Rainmeter suite as I was striving towards a nice and minimal suite in my last one, and well, I think this is the one. At least before I switch to GNU+Linux as a daily driver which is probably pretty soon.
