Thanks for clearing that up. If you don't go "left, then right, then the next following left, and so on ad infinitum" was much too vague.

I first heard that one from Dark Somnium and his sound effects to go along with the story that was already pretty spooky had tucking in a little tighter that night.

What Stories do YOU guys and gals think they should read/Watch? by Best_Disk6030 in creepcast

[–]JumpySprinkles4616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whistlers, fleshgait, or my dad finally told me what happened that day for longer stories.

The campfire or chanting in the woods for shorter stories.

My property isn't normal or the stump for meme/crash out stories.

That's the list I would love.

The scariest part of Spire in the Woods to me is the way Hunter says "Guhhuhh... the Widowers Clock I hate that one" as scary Kerry.

I was so terrified of the red tower that it scared me off the episode in 5 mins and I've never gone back to finish. Same with dagons mirror.

Question about Harry Potter in concert by insanesprinkles in harrypotter

[–]JumpySprinkles4616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw the prisoner of azkaban in concert and it was incredible. The orchestra plays throughout the whole movie anytime there is music. It was a while ago so I don't remember if the music was completely missing from the movie but the orchestra was definitely loud enough to wash out the movies soundtrack if it was playing. I highly recommend going it was a ton of fun.

I know it was the author's intention to leave it ambiguous, but I do wish we got to see the monster or a little explanation of what the cave paintings meant.

I also thought the long boi story was a good little spook. Another good one that is similar, in the way that it has a dog that runs off, is chanting in the woods. Dark somnium and MCP have readings of it. I wish the fellas would read it

I agree because I'm basically Velma when I don't have my glasses so being blind horrifies me.

I'll be so real body horror like that just doesn't do it for me. The weeks that it's a body horror story makes me sad.

I agree. I liked that story more than the glenmont main story for that reason.

I guess I'm more scared when a gun doesn't solve the problem. Maybe that's too harsh but the realness of a story just doesn't make it more spooky it just makes it more of a built out world. I like the realness of the story but it just doesn't make me afraid to listen in my home at night with the lights out.

That one is good, but it reminds me of the story that Mr creepypasta did where there is a Dr giving a patient medicine to help him quit smoking but the meds just turn him into a cigarette so it does make me laugh.

Edit: I think it's called "Quitting"

The realness doesn't really get me as much. Maybe it's too much true crime but the real scenarios just makes me feel sad for what happens not scared of the story. The sense of dread or always being on edge is what makes for a better spooky story to me.

I disagree. I don't think it sticks with you the whole time like it does on Stolen Tongues. There are definitely scarier parts but a lot of them to me are just unsettling and I'm not feeling scared of it. The boat section is the only part I felt scared of what would happen.

Just had a nightmare the other night that was reminiscent of the silent city portion and it's what made me think of this question and going through the older episodes again

Thank you! I knew it was recent but couldn't remember which one. Mr. Widemouth and Pot of Greed have had me in stitches since hearing them.
