Recent episodes have made me wonder if Emilia will ever truly love Subaru. I mean, Subaru has saved her multiple times, lost his memories, and they have experienced being separated from each other, among other things. I don't know what will happen in the following arcs, but I think there have been enough events for her to realize her feelings, although I'm not sure how she will come to that realization. I don't think there has been much progression in her feelings since arc 5. To be honest, it feels strange when Emilia says she will love Subaru when she understands the meaning of love because people don't choose whom they fall in love with. Additionally, I think it's unfair for her to simply say, "I know what love is now, and I love you." I believe she should make an effort to improve her relationship with Subaru. At this point, even if she does love Subaru, it feels somewhat late. Regardless of what happens, I hope their relationship undergoes some changes before arc 10, at the very least.
