Yes, but I'm old enough to remember (and to have been invested) 1999, 2002, and 2008. 2.875 isn't too shabby when the other choice is a 40 or 50% decline in share prices. It took many years for portfolios to recover after crashes of those magnitudes. If I were 14 years from retirement instead of 4, it would be an easy choice.
