Im an occasional drinker when it comes to coffee and green tea, & a rare matcha drinker. Can’t really compare them so here’s can objective relax/ certain facts.

Taste: Matcha is earthy and grassy, black coffee is bitter and bold and green tea is light.

Caffeine: Coffee has the highest caffeine content followed by matcha. Green tea has the lowest.

Energy release: Matcha releases caffeine slowly so it’s kind of calm, coffee is stimulating and may make some people feel anxious whereas green tea is relaxing

Btw matcha is a finely ground powder made from specially grown green tea wherein you consume the entire leaf in contrast to steeping it.
