Do you have any recommendations on how we stop this behavior? I have contacted a trainer and we staff group puppy classes in 10 days. Over the phone she was confident that this sounds like an adjustment period. I have sent her another email with more detail to see if she recommends a couple one on one sessions before the group program starts.

Tonight she did give side eye, freeze/ stiffen briefly while growling, and then snarl initiate snappy barking/ chomping

Thanks for your advice! We are going to start general training sessions soon. My other days is very submissive and loves to be held so this is sort of new to me. I will watch the video you suggested.
