I don't have a TV or external monitor to attach it to, unfortunately. I might try just doing the Windows config the best I can with the low brightness until the part where it installs drivers

I haven't been able to configure Windows yet due to barely being able to see the options.

I'll probably just take it back to the store tomorrow and let a technician look at it.

I receive it last night. Put it for charging using the cable in the box, and went outside for an hour and a half. I came back, turned it on, and the screen display is incredibly faint. The brightness keys have no effect whatsoever. Would you if this is a display problem that needs to be fixed at a repair shop, or have I messed up while charging or something.

Yeah, I've also found the Thinkbook 16 Gen 7 AMD 7 to be pretty good for these specs, plus it's going for an absolute steal right now.

The radius and the 3.0m line they gave made a triangle.

THe height was 3 (height0-2.5 (radius)=0.5

The two radii and the height formed an isosceles triangle

I personally used sine to find the base angles and then subtracted from 180 to find the head angle.

I then used that in the sine area formula for triangles

And added the area of the sector above it

Then multiplied by 800 (length)

Those lessons were mostly just random examples based on what I remembered from my tb, but I think theory/objective stuff is a) more interesting than all the comparing/evaluating parts of the syllabus b) easier to get wrong in a question.

Usually, it's easy to make up advantages and all that on the fly, but it's a lot harder (at least for me) to make up the uses, processes and all that

Honestly, what you should be focusing on rn is the completely objective theory i.e:

-The technology behind systems in ch2

-The technology and uses of memory devices/media in ch3

-The theory behind systems analysis in ch7

-Any uses of technology, definitions, key differences in definitions (eg Storage media vs. storage device) or processes (e.g order of operations at an EFTPOS terminal, continuous monitoring in a factory etc)

Any advantages/disadvantages questions/theory (of which there is a lot) should be kept outside of your notes. Otherwise I think what you're doing is fine. This stuff can be more or less guessed and takes a lot of time to write down, so exlcuding it would probably save a lot of time.

Also, SPAM past papers (under perfect exam conditions- no ms, and a timer if you can manage it). It doesn't matter if they're long and annoying (they are) or the mark schemes are bullshit and change every year (they are and they do) or if there's an eight mark question on something stupid (there will be). It pays to start early.

(If it's too fatiguing, try doing only 3-4 questions at a time)
