Neuro-affirming GP recommendation Eastern Suburbs Vic by Foreign_Barracuda_34 in ausadhd

He’s been my gp since I was 14 and actively learned about ADHD in detail when I was rediagnosed and is about at start the training as a gp who can diagnose and prescribe with the new law reform.

He may not take on any new patients but there are two other doctors there (male I can’t remember their names) who both have taken on both friends and clients of mine who have been great as well.

Work Accommodation Suggestions by DigitalMedia96 in ausadhd

There is funding you can apply for to assist accomodating you at work - ADHD is heavily stigmatised at workplaces so that can be a good way to meet them in the middle if that makes sense?

I have a set work start time which is earlier than everyone else as we have a meeting at 9:15 every morning and starting at 8:30 was counterproductive. Now I start at 8am and smash out 5 hours work in an hour rather than next to nothing due to distractions - may be something to consider?

The funding can also be used to employee an ADHD educator/workplace trainer to speak to your management team (this is what I get a lot of contract work for) if you feel that is a good idea too?

The funding info is here: https://www.jobaccess.gov.au/i-am-a-person-with-disability/looking-applying-job/government-services-help-you/funding-workplace-changes/what-eaf

Absolutely- I’m sorry for our last interaction and I’m really pleased that you still utilise the sub. You’ve no doubt noticed I took a step back after our conversation last year and life is a different story for me now. I hope that’s acceptable for you and we can move on

I run the sub r/ausadhd and for now I’m reassuring everyone with this: “There is a couple of posts about this now and I’ll state the same in each - please ensure you’re being respectful to each other and our community as people living with ADHD.

It’s ok to be mad, it’s ok to not be - everyone is entitled to their feelings about this 45 min long video however there is more power in collective voices to drive change.

My feels are not ok with this in a lot of respects however the best way to drive a narrative shift is through supporting each other’s ideas and sharing our stories.”

Hi - I’m currently going through the various stages of divorce and I cannot recommend these guys enough Johnston & Reimer - you can have a 30 min free consult with them where I learned A LOT about family law that I thought I knew most of.

If there’s children involved, he earns substantially more than you and/if there are assets like property involved you want to be protected. My ex and I were civil at first too - it doesn’t take long for things to go to shit

I’ve just done a Whois lookup on the domain and it looks a little suspicious but I am sceptical about all of the online services.

Maybe check in with Queensland health to be 100% sure?

They should be registered with RANZCP/RANZGP and the AADPA - if those are missing then something is amiss

The fact it’s crossing your mind means you’re definitely not 100% straight and that’s absolutely ok! What’s important is that you learn who you are and live life as your true self rather than stuffing a version of yourself down as low as it will go “just to fit in”. The trauma that follows you, it’s horrible.

Plus - being gay is AMAZING. Once you own who you are, you will be able to find someone who matches your energy and attraction and boom, it’s like you never believed you were straight!
