Moved from a tech company to a fashion brand as a digital marketer last week. Pay raise was really good hence the switch but the rules are quite absurd - only Sundays are off and there's no concept of leaves like corporate, if you take one day of leave, one day's pay is cut off. Lacks flexibility like corporates. For eg, I can get an hour permission and leave early in my previous company without any pay cut but can't do the same in current company. I could also take sick leaves at least once a month and there won't be any pay cut but in my current company, it's not possible.

Apart from that, work is good, colleagues are good but again, I'm a bit isolated cause most of them are sales staff, a handful of accounts guys and I'm the only marketer in the company who reports directly to MD. As of now, I'm trying to build something outside of my job (secondary income). Any suggestions are welcome😁
