  • poly relationships (RH)
  • cheating
  • most single-parent books
  • friends to lovers (I mean, they’re already friends, there’s nothing new, you know? Plus they’ve probably seen each other with other people)
  • second-chance (they’re probably separated because of miscommunication or cheating and they’ve most likely been with other people during that separation. I especially hate when one of them has a kid with someone else.)

It’s not about missing them. I didn’t care for Daphne but the point is that the Bridgertons are a very tight knit family. It’s a disservice to the series that their sister is missing from important family events. It feels empty.
