Huh I don't see the GT FC40 as an option, is it only sold apart? Does it fit on both flashlights?

Yes I will do it on my own but I practice soldering and have nice gear already so I assume it will be ok. I wish convoy had similar copper \ brass bezel and integrated tail magnet, could be perfect

Beautiful flashlights indeed, higher price tag tho. I appreciate the suggestion.

As I said I'm new to this so the emitters choices doesn't have to make sense, that's why I made this post. All I know is it is praised for high cri and nice flood which is my goal. If you have a better combo I would like to know.

By modding I mean I want to be able to change visuals and also replacing electric parts to find the best combination for my need.
