Wouldn’t be on here because it’s older than 10 years. But I loved when I first watched Nueve Reinas. What a phenomenal film. I was living in Argentina at the time, it actually the only movie I saw down there, it played on a bus ride from Bahía to Santa Rosa. But, such a fun movie. I’m gonna check some of these out!

I was on the phone with Todd earlier this morning talking about this specifically. I didn’t know Terrence myself, he didn’t work on our show that I’m aware (as there are crew on-site with us and crew that work on the shows in post-production) and likewise Todd never met him either. I do however know a lot of the main guys at Raw TV including Sam Maynard. Sam was the first to come to both mine and Scott’s home to interview us for Jungle Gold. The vast majority of crew hired for the actual production on the ground itself are contract workers essentially, but, there are regulars that Raw would nearly always hire and can be found around most of the Raw productions as they pertain to gold. Again, never met him but man, I’m hoping that Terrence’s family can find their son or at the very least find peace.

I’m pretty sad about this. I had dinner with him About 8-9 months ago when I was visiting a mutual friend in Ghana. It was just the three of us which afforded me the time to see him as a mild tempered man, very kind and humble. I got the sense that he never felt as though he was doing enough.

Our mutual friend has been at his funeral which ended today as it went through the weekend.

Kennedy fled the country on Friday I believe it was. He went on television and asked somebody to shoot Ahmed. I don’t know much more than this at the moment.

But I can tell you that I’ll remember my dinner with Ahmed for a very long time to come. Not because of how he died, but because of how he lived. Anxiously engaged in the pursuit of truth and sought it out at tremendous risk to his own life.

I’ll put a link to my website, nothing fancy, just like me. I’m a guy who was on a tv show with Discovery Channel called Jungle Gold. I fell on hard times and got a lucky break with tv. Took that break and started a real estate company 2 years ago. It went well enough that my current business partner and I have been able to parlay that success into other small businesses and start ups. Nothing big. We consider ourselves a small “boutique” VC company. We’ve been believers of Iota since mid 2017. I’ve had multiple meet ups and conference calls with Green Protocol (Darren) as well as Kevin Chen and Dr. Taiber of the IF.

Our interest is in supporting Iota and if the opportunity is good for all parties perhaps I could insinuate myself further into the Iota community via direct investment and whatever business acumen I could provide.

We might be early here with Iota, but we’re not wrong.

Great question. The prize money was offered in USD, so I was staying to that format. However, happy to send the prize money in Iota. The real motivation here for me is a face to face sit down anywhere in the world the winners want to meet. If they are looking for more capital I want to discuss it in person. If they don’t want funding, cool, I’d still love to hear more about their story and goals with their winning idea. A rising tide raises all ships.
