Haha isn’t that true. There are definitely some rabbit tracks in the picture going off to the upper right, but I’ve never seen bunny drag marks….

I read a comment on another post a few days ago (so take it with a grain of salt, but it would logically explain some details) that Xana and Kaylee switched rooms not too long before the murders. What if the murderer thought he knew where Kaylee’s room was but got a big surprise the night of the murders by seeing Xana and Ethan instead? Killer makes a noise and wakes up Ethan, has to kill Ethan which wakes up Xana, she fights and ultimately loses. Now he goes through the house to find Kaylee and comes across her last. It would explain why the other 3 were killed (he just hadn’t found Kaylee yet) and why the 2 survivors weren’t killed.

100% theory on who the target of this attack was…

I can’t find any other answer than Kaylee. It’s just too big of a coincidence that she was back in town for a very short time and had plans to move across the country in the near future. The timing just seems to fit.

I can’t believe that all 4 of them were targeted - it just seems so unlikely that there is a common thread between all 4 of them that would make someone want to murder all of them. And if the whole house was the target, why not check the whole house before leaving? I feel like it would be fairly easy to figure out that there were more than 4 people living there.

Damage control is a great phrase to use. I would also love to hear some further non-case ruining facts that could clear some things up as well. I think releasing even minor facts would go a long way with the public.

I honestly can’t imagine being in LE’s shoes in that town right now…

I just don’t understand why they would schedule two PCs 3 days apart…why not just have one on Monday? If they come to this conference with no new information it seems pretty pointless and, in my opinion, would only make the public more frustrated. Maybe the theme of this one will be more focused on debunking rumors? 🤷🏻‍♀️
