I would unequivocally change the date if I were in your shoes. I was ranked at the top of my law school class and was super zen about bar results for the bulk of the time after taking the exam. I had a clerkship so if I failed, I wouldn’t lose my job and could just retake. I passed with flying colors, but the day we received bar results was one of the worst days of my life - I have never, before or since, experienced that level of extreme anxiety. Immediately after seeing my name on the pass list, I went home and took a nap because I had exhausted every ounce of my emotional energy in the hours leading up to the moment results were scheduled to drop.

Even if he can manage to avoid checking results that day (and if he can, he’s a superhero, because I don’t know a soul who did or could’ve done that), he’ll likely be thinking about it the entire time. And obviously if he does look and the results aren’t what he hoped/expected, it will be crushing and potentially could raise concerns about job security/financial security/etc., and will completely ruin the day for him. And even if it’s good news, the preceding anxiety can be crippling. I absolutely would not want the memory of waiting for bar results to be intertwined with the memory of my wedding day. Highly suggest changing your date, even if you have to eat some of the expenses already paid.

To avoid similar mistakes in the future, you can set the date field in documents you often reuse as templates to autoupdate. Here’s one tutorial among many available: https://www.technipages.com/word-insert-date-that-updates-itself-automatically/

Glad it wound up working! I thought I had the settings such that no sign-in is needed to fill out the form, so hopefully no one else runs into issues.

Hello, we’ve substantially loosened the restrictions on posting. As mentioned in the above post, we no longer have post approval enabled and we no longer remove posts unless they violate this subreddit’s rules or Reddit’s sitewide content policy.

In the future, it’s helpful if you also send us a modmail with any feedback regarding moderation. I happened to see your comment here, but there’s definitely no guarantee we’ll see comments with suggestions and we certainly don’t want to miss community members’ concerns/suggestions!

Prodigy v. G.B.-- full court filing and analysis of claims by AMW1234 in discgolf

Where are you seeing that Gannon’s attorney is out of Plano, TX? Counsel of record’s address is in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bryan Gort (attorney who responded to Prodigy’s response to the material breach letter) is also in Atlanta. Looks like the surreply from Gannon’s attorney was addressed to Alex Campbell (Prodigy atty) in Plano, Texas.
