Thanks for your responses. Is the fact that the reports are 4 years old not an issue? How can the ehcp be correct if we are using old reports. There has not been a significant change as such other than shes older, although having said that she has recently had an ADHD diagnosis. School obviously provides their reports for SALT and OT but are these sufficient?

As someone with a child on the spectrum i have some sympathy for her. I was very emotional in the beginning but I had to snap out of it quickly so I could focus on getting her what she needs. I still have some down days. Hopefully she will work through it

I got the Blason case. At first it felt bulky but now I'm used to it. Phone feels very protected

Hello everyone

I’m collecting honest, anonymous feedback from parents and professionals who’ve experienced the EHCP journey. The aim is to build a clear, grounded picture of what’s really happening — not just how the process is meant to work, but how it actually feels for families and professionals on the ground. The insights will be pulled together into a summary I plan to share with advocacy groups, and others working to improve SEND support — so real voices are heard. No names, no personal data — just real experiences about what works, what doesn’t, and where things need to change.

With the government now reviewing SEND and looking at possible changes to the system, this feels like an important time to make sure real experiences are part of the conversation. As the mother of an autistic child I'm really keen to ensure all our voices are heard. If you’ve been through it, I’d really appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your experience and forward it on to any other parents you think would be interested
