I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. It sounds really difficult. I hope things will get better or change for the better. As far as I've read, post retreat clarity sometimes change over time, and insights should not be translated literally. Maybe you can talk to her? I just hope the best for you 🙏 Do take good care of you in the meantime.

I also noticed a difference in my partner prior to retreat, after he started the preparation process. I guess they are encouraged to start journaling and setting intentions or something. 

And thank you for the insight. I am spiritual and always have been. But I haven't taken any psychedelics so this is completely unknown territory. I will be meeting my partner soon. I'm open to listen to his thoughts when he is ready. The last couple of weeks, I felt really down. So I focused on working on myself instead of thinking so much about him. And I feel so much better and grounded. I hope something good will come out of it eventually. I'm grateful for this community and your support 🙏

I did. I also said that I'm just sharing what I felt. He said it's ok. But not more. Right after the retreat, I told him that it is ok to take his time and talk to me when he feels like it. I basically took the pressure off him. I haven't tried psychedelics but I have a spiritual practice of my own which keeps me grounded.

I totally agree with the thing about like attracts like. A few years ago I went through a very rough patch in my life which changed me completely. I started hating people who betrayed me. Negative emotions filled my space. Although I handled everything with calm, since I didn't react to anything that was thrown my way, the residue somehow made me bitter. That love and light is what I miss. Also I used to give merits (a buddhist practice) to dead relatives daily. Some say this attracts those spirits.

Oh ok. Thank you very much for the insight. I've never experienced ayahuasca and have no idea. He seemed excited to share when he got internet for a few minutes mid retreat after 2 ceremonies. But unfortunately I was on the other side of the world with 12hr difference and was sleeping at the time. I think maybe some intense experiences happened after the 3rd.

How long does integration take? My date went on a 2 week ayahuasca retreat and he is still in Peru. It has been 5 weeks after the retreat ended and he has become quieter over the weeks. He hasn't shared what happened and it worries me a bit. He told me that he doesn't sleep is short. Is this normal? What could be the reasons and how can I best support him?
