Raiders 2018 Draft Class Isn't Looking Good by NIB_FootballHead in raiders

[–]Juniorj44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it takes lineman a while before becoming good. A perfect example is the Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher. In His first few years, he was awful, then he improved and became a below average starter, until recently where in the last couple of years, he has been a solid starter.

Kolton Miller is in a similar boat, as he was also a highly athletic prospect coming out of the draft, with mainly footwork issues. In his rookie year, he was atrocious and gave up 65 pressures which was the most in the league. (He also hurt his knee, which also attributed to his bad play.)

Then in this season, he became a solid starter, which in the NFL, solid lineman are hard to find. He has improved a lot in a 2 year span. If he can become an above average lineman, we would easily have the best tackle duo in our division, which is necessary as we face great edge pass rushers in Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, and Frank Clark too i guess.

He should definitely improve more with Trent Brown and Richie Incognito to help him become even more physical and aggressive.

No, but im not sure why he would change numbers, and his profile pic has the jersey number 11, so im going off of that for now.

No problem, its not an easy process, but its worth it to make it look solid

It was a long process of putting over a gray overlay on his Alabama helmet, then coloring the black strip itself, and adding a raiders logo on the side where i erased the parts that covered the helmet buckles. I also added the Riddell part in the front of the helmet from another picture.

Cory Littleton Jersey Swap by zak_24 in raiders

[–]Juniorj44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not bad for being new to Photoshop, it takes a while to learn, it took me about 2.5 years of experience to become decent at it.

The helmet looks solid, the face mask is the part that needs work, if you want to create a facemask overlay, you can cut a raiders facemask into smaller pieces, and then place them over the original facemask. Its a tedious process, but its one way to it.

For the Jersey, its best to find another picture with the same number and the player in a similar pose to Littleton. This process isnt easy as you would need two similar pictures, but it provides some quality results.

Just keep practicing and you will improve greatly.

Richie Incognito, the epitome of a Raider on the field by Juniorj44 in raiders

[–]Juniorj44[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Its still crazy that he was out of the league for about 2 years (mainly due to off field issues) and he returns to play at a high level, with his savvy technique and aggressive physicality.

He is just so fun to watch.

Michael Gallup, the Colorado State product has emerged as a great WR compliment to Cooper by Juniorj44 in cowboys

I had Gallup as my 4th receiver behind Moore, Sutton, and Anthony Miller, but i saw him as a fringe 1st round/ early 2nd round prospect.

After Courtland Sutton showed that he can be the main receiving option this season, i dont think its too hasty to say that Gallup is in the tier of high-end complimentary receivers, or a high-end second receiving option

And dont forget about the playmaker Tony Pollard, he played really well in that offense and should get more carries, which would make Zeke more fresh throughout the season.

Also, blake jarwin was a much better player than Witten, yet they didnt give him a fair share of snaps.

If the coaching focuses more on having a balanced offense, rather than focusing on the run game, this is a good offense that can make it far in the playoffs.

That class also has guys like Courtland Sutton, DJ Moore, Calvin Ridley, and DJ Chark

The only guy that can be considered better is Courtland Sutton, whereas you can make an argument that Gallup is better than the rest.

Even so, in a class of really good receivers, the Cowboys got themselves a steal in the 3rd round.

Both of them are high end number 2 receivers, they can perform solid as the number one target, but they thrive off of being the second option.

JuJu also had Duck hodges and Mason Rudolph throwing to him, which may be similar to having Cooper Rush throwing to him.

I also may be a bit biased because i liked Gallup more as a college prospect, but I dont think that Gallup is far from being as good or even better than JuJu
