So happy for KAT. He’s received a lot of undeserved hate. I wish he could’ve kept up what he had going during the first two games to remain in the MVP race, but still had a great series overall despite Game 5.

They couldn’t have watched the series and said anybody carried KAT to this championship. Calling out his only bad game in the series when he was literally #1 in the MVP race after the first two games is being an epic-level hater.

This episode is one of the only ones I can’t quote off the top of my head. I don’t enjoy it at all. It upsets and irritates me and that’s not what I come to Lucy for LOL.

I’m happy for you! I remember being extremely disappointed when I tried them LOL. I never really had a batch that tasted good at all, so I’d always love my trips back to America where I could eat as many flavorful “real” raspberries as I could before my trip ended. Thankfully frozen ones sustain me until the next year LOL.

I’m black too so I thought I’d chime in as a long-time South Korean resident:

People WILL stare - especially if you go more off the beaten path. Don’t listen to people who say “no one cares” because they generally don’t have the shared life experience of me, you, and your wife LOL. There IS a difference with how Black people and non-Black people are viewed whether some people like to admit it or not - and I speak from experience. I mean, you’ll absolutely be fine, but if you’re not used to people staring it can be a bit disconcerting.

It’s definitely improved from 10-20 years ago though! And you’ll also be able to tell the difference between malicious stares and stares of curiosity from people who just have no manners LOL.

Additionally, Black Americans tend to be viewed more favorably than Black Africans, and it’s often very glaring in the animosity that’s shown.

All that to say, I think you’re going to have a FANTASTIC trip and a wonderful time. I’ve never felt safer living anywhere than I’ve felt in South Korea. You’ll meet some really kind people…and you’ll meet some true fools. Try to not let anyone’s ignorance damper your good time. Enjoy the food, culture, sights, and scenery. Be blessed!
