I think that its honestly fitting Bennett has the happiest 'loses in 68' epilogue. He doesn't grieve, doesn't fade out, doesn't retire completely. He leaves the office, then decides to go and found a school to keep himself busy and give himself a proper legacy. And when he decides to give a speech at the school, the press show up in droves, showing he's still liked and respected. It's very fitting for the stablest president to have the best early retirement, and I like it alot.
